Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:37PM Scientists found water on the Moon. Not only does this mean that astronauts can have water fights, but now a permanent Moon base is a real possibility.
If you like the above comic you should check out more Lolable Comics, and follow my friend Feduniw on the twitters.
Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2:57PM I have a really soft spot in my heart for stereotypical Canadian accents. I think that might be why I like living in the prairies so much. Every once and a while I'll encounter someone who sounds like Dave Thomas and it warms my heart. I want to befriend them and slowly steal their speech patterns over several rounds of beer.
If the title of this post alludes you, it's probably because you're not Canadian. For clarification a "hoser" is as follows:
"He's often imagined wearing heavy winter clothing, usually a flannel lumberjack shirt, Kodiak boots and a tuque. He is generally a young adult to middle age, and may be somewhat aggressive given the beer and hockey, but may conversely be passive and amiable, given the beer. In musical culture, he is correlated with classic and mainstream rock music, particularly with Rush, April Wine, Trooper and the earlier, rowdier works of The Tragically Hip. If he goes out socially, it's usually to a doughnut shop"

Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 5:03PM It's been a whole year now since Joel Watson lost his day job and started doing Hijinks Ensue (the best webcomic on the Internets) full-time.
If you don't already know, Joel started "The Experiment" in hopes of making his webcomic a profitable endeavor. He posts three comics a week, hosts a weekly podcast, and sells a variety of T-shirts, and prints, and accepts donations in return for premium content. So far he's doing pretty good, he's been able to keep the comic going at an ever increasing pace, and is making a little bit of money from it.
I use to donate regularly, however, I had to stop for a while due to my own personal finances. I'm of the opinion that if you are going to be spending money it should be in support of people who you admire, and Joel is definitely one of those people. I very much encourage you to check out his site, buy his stuff, and/or donate.
Here's his most recent comic.
