I wish I was half as cool as this guy

The Coolest Guy in the World - Funny bloopers are a click away

I think I'd probably break my ankle if I attempted to recreate any of this.

Red Bananas

Remember when I mentioned Red Bananas? Well I managed to find some at Organza.

UPDATE: They taste much like regular bananas, perhaps a tad creamier an just a little sweeter.

Take off you hoser

I have a really soft spot in my heart for stereotypical Canadian accents. I think that might be why I like living in the prairies so much. Every once and a while I'll encounter someone who sounds like Dave Thomas and it warms my heart. I want to befriend them and slowly steal their speech patterns over several rounds of beer.

If the title of this post alludes you, it's probably because you're not Canadian. For clarification a "hoser" is as follows:

"He's often imagined wearing heavy winter clothing, usually a flannel lumberjack shirt, Kodiak boots and a tuque. He is generally a young adult to middle age, and may be somewhat aggressive given the beer and hockey, but may conversely be passive and amiable, given the beer. In musical culture, he is correlated with classic and mainstream rock music, particularly with RushApril WineTrooper and the earlier, rowdier works of The Tragically Hip. If he goes out socially, it's usually to a doughnut shop"

On Failure

Adam Savage, of the Mythbusters, recently spoke at Maker Faire about Failure. His talk details the failures in his career that have helped him learn. If you've seen his TED talk about his quest for the perfect Maltese Falcon, you'll know how captivating a storyteller he is.

Star Trek Online

Check out the awesome viral campaign for the upcoming Star Trek Online MMO.

This game may be the only reason I have for setting up Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro.
